About our Jacob Sheep...
Jacob Sheep are believed to have originated in Syria and is considered a rare breed.

Characteristics
  • Small to medium breed, adult ewes weigh 80-140 lbs, adult rams weigh 140-200 lbs
  • Jacob sheep can have up to 6 horns.
  • Medium wool with a micron of around 34 and a staple length of 4-7 inches
  • Beautiful spotted fleeces
  • Easy lambing

We have decided to no longer continue breeding Registered Jacob Sheep.   We do have Jacob/Finn crosses available.  We also have Jacob fleeces and roving!  Contact us at countingsheepfarm@yahoo.com for more details.
How can you not love that face?
This is Baby, she is the bellwether of the flock.  She is the oldest sheep in our flock and is by far the sneakiest.  She seems to know  when the grain bucket means when it's time for a treat, and when it's time to be wormed!
